The ECOAIR team need access to your ceiling space to begin the installation of your new home ventilation system.

But let's look at what goes into the ceiling space. From the picture on the right, you can see that the "power house" of the system is a very compact fan unit, running at less than 70 watts, which draws the air from your roof space, then circulates that through your house, ventilating and heating or cooling as required.

Each ECOAIR fan unit is hand-assembled, and bench-tested for efficiency and reliability.

The ECOAIR Synfilter box takes the circulating air and distributes it efficiently through your home.

The top right view shows the main air intake, and gives an excellent view of the filter, which will collect 80% particles down to a size of 0.2 microns. By way of illustration, when you see dust in a ray of sunlight, you are looking at particles of 25 microns or larger.

The air passes through the filter to the output ducts. As you can see from the bottom right picture, there are up to 4 outputs, 2x150mm and 2x100mm.

A typical configuration for your ECOAIR home ventilation system might be air outlets in the hallway, lounge, a bedroom that may have condensation or mould problems (often south-facing).

For a more detailed description about the efficiency of the filters we use in the ECOAIR home ventilation system, you can read this Adobe Acrobat pdf (76k, less than one minute download on a 56k modem) which illustrates the particulates removed by the SynSafe filter system. We recommend you use Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0, or you can right click on this link to save the file to your hard disk to read later.

The ECOAIR Synsafe Filter is a scientific breakthrough designed to remove harmful particulates from the air.

The bottom picture shows the input side of the filter. This starts removing the larger particulates from the air before it is then passed through to the output side (top). These filters work extremely efficiently by using the electrostatic charge generated by the particles as they pass through the filter to trap smaller particles.

The top view shows the output side of the filter a much finer filter, designed to remove up to 80% of the 0.2 micron particles from the air, ensuring that you get the best quality air into your home.
