Installing an Ecoair System...
To demonstrate how quick and easy it is to install an ECOAIR home ventilation system, here is a step-by-step description of what we will do for you.
First, we will come and visit your home to give you an obligation free quote. We will discuss your requirements with you regarding problems you might be having with condensation in your home.
ECOAIR will also offer FREE help and advice on heating and insulation issues that could save you a lot of money and give major improvements in health and well-being for you and your family.
Once you have signed up for your ECOAIR heat recovery system, we will discuss a suitable time to come and do the installation, usually within two weeks.
On the day, the ECOAIR install team will arrive, and within a couple of hours, will leave you with your new ventilation system, no mess (we always vacuum afterwards!), no structural alterations to your house, just some unobtrusive ceiling diffusers and a wall mounted thermostat and controller.
After a few simple instructions on how to operate your ECOAIR heat recovery system, you can relax and let the worry-free, whisper-quiet system start to work.
Now let's look at the steps involved in installing your ECOAIR heat recovery system in a bit more detail.

The components

Roof space installation of the
Filter box and ducting system -
Adding the ceiling diffusers

Installation of the thermostat and controller
You may also be interested to know that we can handle multi-level installations.
If you have a split-level roof, that would appear to be a more complex job. Not to the ECOAIR team. Below we have shown the steps we take to ensure that you get the full benefits of our home ventilation system throughout your house.
Here is a good example of what ECOAIR can deal with.
The house is on 2 levels, but the roof is continuous. Obviously installing the heat recovery ventilation system in the top level is relatively straightforward, but what about the lower level?
Not a problem for the ECOAIR install team.
A special connector is placed in the eaves where the 2 roof levels connect.
This will enable the filtered air to pass from the fan, through the ducting and pass to the lower roof level.
We may need to make some slight adjustments in the vicinity of the eaves to allow the connector to pass through, but no structural alterations will be necessary.
The connector is joined to the SynSafe filter, in the same way as our normal home ventilation system.
In the lower level of the roof space, the special connector can be connected to the duct.
This will ensure the filtered air is now available to the desired rooms in the lower level. All that remains is to add the ceiling ducts, an example of which is shown below.
